Instructor: Carolyn Ingram
Patterns are all around us, intentionally and unintentionally. In this workshop, we will discuss different forms of patterns and what inspires us, then create our own! We will draw our designs and transfer them to a softcut linocut block, where you will learn how to carve a stamp. We will then learn how to ink and print your stamp so your design can come to life as big or small as you would like!
This class is for those who have never heard of linocut or those who are experienced in printmaking and want to learn how to create compelling repeating designs.
