The Kalamazoo Book Arts Center, founded in 2005, is a creative public space where artists and book enthusiasts of all kinds gather to celebrate books and the many arts associated with book making.
As we enter our 3rd decade, we are celebrating these milestones:
19,000 Youths created art with the KBAC
219 College and high school internships
54,000 Adults participated in our programing
1,000 Teaching and visiting artists
87 Poets in Print readings, 20 letterpress books, and 174 broadside editions.
Our goal is to raise $21,000. Here’s how you can help!
Your donation provides:
$50—Art supplies for a workshop
$150—Materials for broadsides
$300—Accommodations for a visiting artist
$400—Sponsor one poet for our Poets in Print reading series
$600— Two classrooms can Make-A-Book-From-Scratch
$1000—Purchase new letterpress type.

The KBAC Mystery Mail subscription Program!!
Participants who make a donation of $250 or more will receive a mystery package in the mail three times during the year. The package will contain printed cards, handmade paper, books, and other limited-edition suprises
Vehicle Donations
Do you have a vehicle you aren’t using and would like to donate to the KBAC? We are now able to take vehicle donations through CARS.
