Gelli prints are one-of-a-kind monotypes that are fun to make with supplies and materials you probably already have around your house. The possibilities are truly endless, and no press is required. To rein in the possibilities a bit, this class will use acrylic paints, brayers, stamps, and other texturing tools as usual in the Gelli printing process, and then focus on using stencils and masks to create unique backgrounds with amazing patterns and/or 2D art with a focal point. You will use commercial stencils as well as make your own using mylar, hot glue, and other materials. In a 5-hour class, you’ll have time to experiment and leave with a stack of finished prints.

Optional (please bring if you already have):
- gelli plate
- favorite acrylic paints (Americana craft paint, Golden Open paints, any brand of heavy body paint)
- chunky stamps or texturing tools that make marks in paint
- stencils
- hairdryer
