The Teen Book Arts Program is designed for students interested in the visual arts who plan to study art in college or would like to enhance their art portfolio for college applications. Covering papermaking, printmaking, and bookbinding, this 3-part program is free and available to students in 8th-12th grade with advance registration each Spring. Students may register for one, two, or all three workshops!
Wednesday, March 11, 6–8:30 p.m. Register by Friday, March 6.
Learn to hand-pull sheets of paper from 100% cotton fiber, embellish them with inclusions and colored pulp, then use the hydraulic and drying paper presses. Papers may be used in the printmaking workshop.

Design and carve your unique design into soft-carve material using Linocut tools and use a baren to print
Wednesday, March 25, 6–8:30 p.m. Register by Friday, March 20. Using words from magazines, mass mailers, and other print materials, students will piece together poetry, from the deep and the profound to the delightfully nonsensical and everything in between, then create a ‘zine to hold and present their collage poems.
Registration opens on March 2, 2026, at 10 a.m.
