Illustrated Accordion Form
Please fill out this form your entry for The Illustrated Accordion. We will be using this information for the text that accompanies the images on our website, as well as to collect information from you about shipping. Please make sure that you print and include this form (or at least your name and email )in your package as well so we can match the online form to your book.
Once you have pushed submit on the form below it will be emailed to the KBAC and you will not be able to print it. If we have questions about your infomation we will contact you. You may submit your own photos to katie@kalbookarts.org if you wish.
Artists are limited to one entry for the exhibit. Entries must be received by January 22 should be hand delivered or mailed in a box or padded envelope to the KBAC. Kalamazoo Book Arts Center, 326 W. Kalamazoo Avenue, Suite 103A, Kalamazoo, MI 49007
Include a self-addressed envelope of equal size, affixed with Stamps for return of work after the exhibit. The Kalamazoo post office doesn’t accept pre-paid printed stamps issued by other post offices. Other shipping options are listed in the form below. Include a check made out to the KBAC for $25 for the entry fee or through our website. Books without envelopes or with insufficient postage may not be returned.
All books must be ready for display on a shelf or sculpture stand that we provide, or hung from the wall (please include hardware and hanging instructions, if necessary in form below.) Although care will be taken in the handling and display of the work, the KBAC is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of the books during transit and exhibition. The KBAC reserves the right to reproduce images of submitted work for publicity purposes. A 30% commission will be charged for all sales made through the KBAC Gallery.
