Donika Kelly
Donika Kelly is the author The Renunciations and Bestiary. Bestiary is the winner of the 2015 Cave Canem Poetry Prize, a Hurston/Wright Legacy Award for Poetry, and the Kate Tufts Discovery Award. A Cave Canem graduate fellow and member of the collective Poets at the End of the World, Donika has also received a Lannan Residency Fellowship, and a summer workshop fellowship from the Fine Arts Work Center. She earned an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin and a PhD in English from Vanderbilt University. Her poems have been published in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, The Paris Review, and Foglifter. She currently lives in Iowa City and is an assistant professor in the English Department at the University of Iowa, where she teaches creative writing. https://www.prairielightsbooks.com/book/9781644450536
Martha Silano
Martha Silano’s fifth collection, Gravity Assist, appeared from Saturnalia Books in 2019. Previous collections include The Little Office of the Immaculate Conception, chosen by Campbell McGrath for the 2011 Saturnalia Books Poetry Prize, Blue Positive (Steel Toe Books), and What the Truth Tastes Like (Two Sylvias Press). She is also co-author of The Daily Poet: Day-by-Day Prompts for Your Writing Practice. Martha’s poems have appeared in Poetry, Paris Review, American Poetry Review, and the Best American Poetry series, among others, and she has been a fellow at the University of Arizona Poetry Center, the Millay Colony for the Arts, and Yaddo. Martha teaches at Bellevue College, Richard Hugo House, and as a poet in the schools in Skagit County, Washington.
