Sara Lupita Olivares
Sara Lupita Olivares is the author of Migratory Sound, which was selected as winner of the 2020 CantoMundo Poetry Prize and is forthcoming from the University of Arkansas Press, and the chapbook Field Things (dancing girl press). Her poems have appeared in Gulf Coast, Denver Quarterly, Salt Hill Journal, DIAGRAM, jubilat, The Cincinnati Review, and elsewhere. She earned her PhD from Western Michigan University and currently lives in New Mexico where she works as an Assistant Professor of English at New Mexico Highlands University.
Gina Franco
Gina Franco's book, The Accidental, was awarded the 2019 CantoMundo Poetry Prize and was published with the University of Arkansas Press in 2019. She is also the author of The Keepsake Storm (University of Arizona Press). Her poems have appeared recently or are forthcoming with 32 Poems, AGNI, American Poetry Review, Narrative, Poets.org, and elsewhere. She divides her time between Galesburg, Illinois, where she teaches at Knox College and the Southwest Texas borderlands, her family's home. She is an oblate with the Community of St. John.
