Dennis Hinrichsen is the author of ten books of poetry. His most recent, Flesh-Plastique, appeared in 2023 from Green Linden Press. His previous books include schema geometrica, This Is Where I Live I Have Nowhere Else To Go and [q / lear]. He has been recipient of the Third Coast Poetry Prize and a Best of the Net Award, as well as the Akron, FIELD, Tampa, Michael Waters, Grid and Wishing Jewel Poetry Prizes. He is currently putting together a new and selected poems which will appear from Green Linden Press in 2024. New work is appearing or forthcoming in Ballast, diode, Jet Fuel Review, Leon Literary Review, Marrow, The National Poetry Review, Third Coast, Timber and Under a Warm Green Linden. He lives in Lansing, Michigan where from 2017-2019 he served as the inaugural Poet Laureate of the Greater Lansing area.
Khaled Mattawa currently teaches in the graduate creative writing program at the University of Michigan. He is the author of five books of poetry, and a critical study of the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish. Mattawa has coedited two anthologies of Arab American literature and translated several volumes of contemporary Arabic poetry. His awards include the Academy of American Poets Fellowship prize, the PEN Award for Poetry in Translation, and a MacArthur Fellowship.
