Kalamazoo Poetry Festival Ekphrastic Art Event
Artist Reception: KBAC, Friday, July 10
View art based on Kalamazoo Poetry Festival’s 2026 theme Beyond Resilience.” This exhibition is a result of three annual KPF workshops, where participants of all ages have visually responded to poetry. The resulting artwork then inspired a community poem written by Kalamazoo Friends of poetry.
Visit the KBAC gallery for a reception during the July 10 Art Hop from 5-8 pm, with special poetry readings by Elizabeth Bullmer and Shonda Buchanan!
