KBAC Gallery
Opens During Art Hop, December 2
5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Join us for an exhibition of prints by Lee Ann Frame.
Lee Ann Frame says of her work: Born near the shores of Lake MI I spent much of my youth out-of-doors where I continue to be most comfortable and spiritually engaged. Nature keeps me in awe by continually challenging me beyond my comfort place. My work is an extension of the anxiety and the freedom I feel when I explore the nearby shoreline of Lake Michigan and new discoveries in unfamiliar places. These experiences rouse my imagination. A new relationship begins with the start of each print, taking energy, attention, and passion. I work in hand pulled multi-print media techniques, etching, and woodblock. What I want to say, the materials I work with, is a collaborative process that takes time to develop. My hope is that my work will conjure memories, tap the imagination and allow for an intimate visual experience.
The KBAC is committed to inclusion of all members of the community regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, age, or ability.
