KBAC Gallery
Opens During Art Hop, March 4 2016, 6:00-9:00 p.m.
In celebration of the Kalamazoo Book Arts Center’s tenth anniversary, regional printmakers will create work in response to concepts associated with the number TEN. Southwest Michigan Printmakers (SWMP) is a group of artists working in a variety of traditional and non-traditional printmaking techniques.
Begun in the late 1970’s, the Southwest Michigan Printmakers (SWMP) is diverse and informal group of regional artist/printmakers dedicated to the creation of hand made and fine art prints. Meeting bi-monthly, the group encourages artists working in printmaking and promotes excellence in the various print mediums. Through exhibitions of their works, SWMP helps to promote public knowledge, understanding, and support for printmaking.
The KBAC is committed to inclusion of all members of the community regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, age, or ability.
KBAC’s educational and artistic programming is made possible through the generosity of these organizations, other private funders, and people like you.
