Altered Books, Altered Worlds
Altered Books – Altered Worlds will focus on books, usually so familiar and predictable, in different and re-imagined forms. All media, variations, and interpretations of altered books will be accepted and included in the exhibition.
Altered Books – Altered Worlds will run concurrently with Adaptation: Transforming Books into Art at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. This juried exhibition will showcase the work of 17 internationally known artists in the altered book genre.
These two unique and inspiring exhibitions will allow visitors to see the work of an exceptionally large and talented group of book artists.
