The Kalamazoo Book Arts Center, founded in 2005, is a creative public space where artists and book enthusiasts of all kinds gather to celebrate books and the many arts associated with book making.
We regularly work with area youth providing programming in papermaking, printmaking, and bookbinding in our studio and off-site.
Adult programs, in-person and online, encourage life-long learning through classes, exhibitions, and poetry readings.
Our internship program for college and high school students provides real-world experience in non-profit arts/exhibition management, product development and skill advancement.
Our gallery space provides the opportunity for local, regional and national artists to exhibit their work as well as share their expertise through classes and lectures.
The highly regarded Poets in Print Reading Series has produced over 140 broadsides with poets and artists from all over the United States.
Our limited-edition letterpress fine art books unite artists and authors across the country and connects us with collectors everywhere.
Your donation contributes to these efforts, and more, in a meaningful way. We thank you for your support!
