Instructor: Lorrie Grainger Abdo
Paste painting is a surface design technique that uses mark making tools to manipulate pigmented paste to create beautiful decorative paper. These sheets, like marbled papers, can be used in books, collage, cards and more. This is usually a half day class but we’ve added more time for play, experimentation and style development. Students are encouraged to bring acrylic paints in favorite colors, combs, chunky rubber stamps, or any other mark making objects. Consider making large sheets to be used as the first layer of color and texture for the Layered Letterpress Poster class on July 21 with Katie Platte. Come experiment with us!
