Suminagashi, which means ‘floating ink’ in Japanese, is a beautiful ancient marbling technique. Using paintbrushes, inks are applied to the surface of water where they float and swirl around each other almost like the rings of a tree. Then paper is gently placed on the water and peeled back revealing a marbled print. All marbled sheets can go home the same day as the class!
Kids 'classes will run with a minimum of four students. Won’t you consider registering with a friend?
