Wednesday, June 26
6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Instructor: Katie Platte
Make beautiful prints using botanicals from your summer garden. Prints will be created three different ways: monotypes using an etching press, pressure prints using the Vandercook press and hand pulled prints using water soluble inks. Students will spend time experimenting with each of these techniques to create intricate images that can be used as framed art, cards, or as elements in collage. Plants to print with will be provided, but please bring in dried or fresh leaves, flowers, grasses, feathers and other flat, natural items.
Households who donate over $50 receive a year long, 10% discount on enrollment fees and store purchases. Learn more about donating.
